Akanksha Anand received her ISB certification and attended Kendriya Vidyalaya which is a renowned system of central government schools in India. Akanksha began her work as a data analyst at AIG, Xceedanace, Verisk Analytics, and Salesforce. After joining SpinSci in July of 2022, she transitioned into a Project Manager and now plays an integral role as part of the team.
Fun Facts?
I am a plant lover and like anything related to them – I have over 500 plants I’m taking care of at my home. The reason I enjoy them is because of the calming vibes, they’re easy to take care of, and are great for home decor.
Tell us one extraordinary thing that you have never done and would like to do?
I would like to try sky diving. My husband has done it but I’ve always been scared to try!
What are a few of your favorite hobbies and interests?
My hobbies include painting, reading novels, and home decorating. I paint a lot for do-it-yourself projects such as pots for my plants. A novel I’m currently reading is Narasimha – The Mahaavatar Triology – which follows the story of a popular character in Indian mythology.
What kind of music do you like?
I don’t usually listen to music, it usually takes me a few beers to get into the groove.
What cuisine do you enjoy the most?
My favorite cuisines would have to be Thai and South Indian. I enjoy any Thai food but particularly find green papaya salad with red curry to be a favorite of mine.
Do you have any pets?
Yes I have 7 fish – 5 are guppies.
Who has been your inspiration in life?
My biggest inspiration is my papa because he doesn’t say no to anyone who is in need of help. He was able to achieve everything that no one could imagine.

The leadership team at SpinSci is very reliable and helpful. You get to learn and explore more in terms of career whether it’s related to product or technology. They are open to new ideas and are supportive in your role.

Our team culture is unique because we are always working together, ensuring we are learning and helping one another.
Something about yourself others don’t know?
I am a hoarder of shoes and bags! I could also eat 100 candies in one day (anything fruit flavored as I’m not a fan of chocolate caramel).
What are your dreams and your aspirations in Life?
My dream is to retire and have my own organic farm where I could do all my gardening, grow my own food, and have a place to care for my fish.
What is your favorite movie?
Although it came out before I was born, my favorite movie is Top Gun 1986 because I’m a huge fan of Tom Cruise 🙂
Where’s a place you’d like to visit?
I’d like to visit Spain because it’s a very beautiful place and I’d like to explore “The Sagrada Familia” in Barcelona.
What is one thing about SpinSci you wish the whole world could know?
The management team is very helpful, down to earth, open for discussions, and always ready to help you grow in your career. There are organizations as such and SpinSci is one of them.
